Apptrove MCP: Ask Your Attribution Data Anything With AI

Your attribution data, just one conversation away.

Marketing teams already have plenty of data. The real challenge is getting to the answer you need without spending half your day looking for it.

You might want to know how many installs you got today, which partners performed best last week, or what users did after they installed. Usually, that means opening a dashboard, choosing an app, adjusting filters, pulling up a report, and then making sense of the numbers.

Apptrove MCP gives you a simpler way to do it.

With Apptrove MCP, you can connect your Apptrove account to AI clients like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Claude Code and ask questions about your attribution data in plain English.

No need to build a report for every question. Just ask, get the data, and keep moving.

What Is Apptrove MCP?

Apptrove MCP is a read-only connection that brings your Apptrove attribution data into your AI workflow.

Once connected, your AI client can access the Apptrove data available through your API key. You can ask about installs, revenue, events, partners, cohorts, UniLink performance, and more, without having to jump back and forth between different dashboards.

For example, you can simply ask:

“What are today’s installs and events across my apps?”

Or:

“Show me the partner breakdown for the last 7 days.”

Apptrove MCP retrieves the relevant information and brings the answer right into your conversation.

The idea is pretty simple: instead of going looking for the data, just ask for it.

Turn Attribution Data Into Instant Insights

The real value of Apptrove MCP is how naturally it fits into the way people already use AI.

Ask Questions in Plain English

You don’t need to remember which report contains a particular metric or how to configure it.

Ask your question the way you would ask a teammate, and let AI help you find the relevant data.

Look Across Multiple Apps

Managing more than one app often means switching between different views and reports.

With Apptrove MCP, you can ask for performance across the apps you have access to and get a consolidated view without the extra tab-hopping.

Go Beyond Installs

Installs are only one part of the story.

You can also explore revenue, in-app events, partner performance, cohorts, UniLink data, and dashboard statistics to understand what happens after acquisition.

Spend Less Time Building Reports

If your team keeps asking for the same daily or weekly numbers, you don’t necessarily need another report.

Ask for the data when you need it and get straight to the insight.

What Can You Ask Apptrove MCP?

Apptrove MCP gives you access to a growing set of reporting and analytics capabilities.

Here are a few examples:

What you want to knowWhat you can ask
App access“What apps can I access?”
Today’s performance“Show me today’s installs and events across my apps.”
Daily reporting“Give me the daily report for this app for July 2026.”
Partner performance“Show me the partner breakdown for the last 7 days.”
Event performance“What are my top in-app events this week?”
UniLink performance“Show me the UniLink report for this app.”
Cohort insights“Show me the cohort performance for this app.”

Whether you need a quick pulse check or a deeper look at performance, you can start with a question instead of a report.

Built for the AI Tools You Already Use

Apptrove MCP works with the AI tools teams are already using in their day-to-day workflows.

Claude

Connect Apptrove through the AppTrove connector in Claude. After authorizing the connection with your Apptrove API key, enable the connector and start asking questions about your data.

You can also optionally add a Default App ID if you primarily work with a specific app.

Cursor & Claude Code

For Cursor and Claude Code, you can connect Apptrove MCP using the MCP URL and your API key directly in your configuration.

You can also optionally add an App ID to work with a specific app.

And, as always, keep your API keys secure and never commit them to source control.

ChatGPT

Apptrove MCP also supports ChatGPT, giving you another way to bring attribution insights into an AI conversation.

That means you can work with your Apptrove data in the AI environment that already fits your workflow.

Read-Only by Design

Giving an AI client access to your analytics shouldn’t mean giving it control of your account.

That’s why Apptrove MCP is read-only.

It can retrieve the data your API key can access, but it cannot write, edit, or delete information in your Apptrove account.

Once connected, you can also ask for connection info to see which apps are available through your current access.

A Simpler Way to Work With Attribution

Think of Apptrove MCP as a shortcut between the questions you have and the data you need to answer them.

Instead of:

Open dashboard → Find the app → Set filters → Build report → Analyze

You can start with:

Ask → Get the data → Find the insight

Want to know which partners performed best? Ask.

Need today’s installs across your apps? Ask.

Looking for your top events this week? Ask.

The data is already there. Apptrove MCP simply gives you a more natural way to get to it.

Get Started With Apptrove MCP

Getting started requires three things:

  • An active Apptrove account
  • A valid Apptrove API key with the required permissions
  • A supported AI client: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code

Connect Apptrove to the AI tool you already use and start exploring your attribution data through natural-language questions.

Your attribution data is just one conversation away.
